Further details:
Scissor lifts manufactured by Power-Lift can offer a multitude of custom built alternatives. A wide range of different sizes with modifications to suit each individual application. We can provide tables with in-built rollers, mobile tables suitable for lifting pallets, titling platform tops and specialist tables suitable for the food industry.
Many finishes are available, a selection of various applied paint finishes, galvanised finish for external use or stainless steel finish required in hygienic situations.
All of our scissor lifts operate from a three phase electric supply, however many of them can be supplied for a single phase operation.
Scissor lifts reduce to a minimal height when closed. Should floor level service be necessary, a shallow pit will need to be formed to achieve this. A special low closed lift range is available when a recess excavation is limited.
Operation of each scissor lift is by means of a pendant control fitted to a flexible cable. Each pendant incorporates up and down control buttons, continuous pressure is necessary to maintain movement.
There are a series of safety features available. The perimeter of the under side of each table is fitted with a safety trip frame. In the event of this coming into contact with an obstruction whilst the table is being lowered the lift will automatically cut out. Galvanised mesh curtains can be fitted to the underside of each platform to discourage ingress. Similarly bellow guards can be provided. The surface of each platform can be fitted with a tear pattern sheet, which is anti-slip. The edges of the platform can also be fitted with handrails. This will discourage the misloading of goods.
Ideal for use in a loading bay environment where a fixed loading bay area is constructed and vehicles of varying height make deliveries. A scissor lift will enable all vehicles to deliver without excessive manual handling.
These platform lifts are also particularly useful in manufacturing situation where goods need to be lifted to an ideal working height and minimise the risks associated with Manual Handling and Health and Safety at Work legislation.
